The name of our trade association stands for reliable partnership with retailers and the manufacturing industry in Germany and Europe. It was founded in Bremen in 1919 as an association of 22 hardware retailers who wanted to merge their buying power to attract favourable conditions. Today, NORDWEST Handel AG offers its over 1,050 retail partners the procurement of goods on a solid economic foundation together with a huge range of services in the areas of IT, finance, logistics, marketing and sales.
