State-of-the-art logistics for maximum performance
Following decades of successful operation and continuous development of the logistics site in Gießen, we have created additional logistics capacity with the new facility in Alsfeld and invested in logistics IT, new, efficient processes and state-of-the-art intralogistics. With the construction of our new central warehouse in Alsfeld, we now have the infrastructure in place to take our logistics to the next level. With a total area of 68,000 m², the new NORDWEST logistics centre is one of the most advanced logistics facilities in the industrial B2B sector and provides the foundation for further growth, maximum performance and even greater delivery quality. At the site, we employ state-of-the-art technologies and highly automated processes. At the heart of the facility is an automated small parts warehouse, complemented by high-performance pallet and block storage areas. Driverless transport systems, modern packaging technology and an intelligent warehouse management system ensure an efficient, transparent and seamless flow of goods. This allows us to combine maximum process reliability with maximum flexibility, creating the basis for fast and dependable deliveries.
