NORDWEST Handel AG is a group company for industry and wholesale. On our website www.nordwest.com we present our company in general terms on the one hand, and on the other hand we refer to product areas, brands, suppliers and subsidiaries. These have their own websites.
Explanations on the performance of the service
Nordwest is active in the areas of steel, construction, trade & industry and building services, which are further subdivided into various sub-areas. This spectrum is covered by our own brands and subsidiaries. No purchases can be made on our website itself, there are only links to specialised trade partners.

The above-mentioned service is partially compliant with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG).

There are still some buttons and text links with too little contrast. Other elements and links still lack machine-readable texts. Also, not 100% of all old texts on images have been maintained.
Non-accessible parts of the service - implementation deadlines
We are working on adapting our website as far as possible to the accessibility requirements of WCAG 2.2 AA. The individual steps will be adapted step by step. We expect to be largely completed by the end of July 2025.
